I gave the keynote address at the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights' workshop on "Human Rights in War and Climate Crisis"

September 9, 2025: Kansas City, "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Controversy"

October 16, 2025: UMass Boston, "War and Masculinity"

Open to all students and faculty, this talk will survey how I think masculinity influences just war theory and intergroup conflict.

November 6, 2025: University of Georgia, "When (and How) to Say 'No'"

This will be a public talk on professional ethics within corrupted institutions.

January 7-10, 2026: American Philosophical Association Eastern Division, "Just War Theory After Gaza

I will be on a panel on ethical issues in the Israel-Palestine conflict organized by the Society for Middle Eastern and North African Philosophy and the Concerned Philosophers for Peace.

February 5, 2026: Ethics Institute, Northeastern University, "When (and How) to Say 'No'"

This will be a public talk on professional ethics in institutions under structural attack

February 6, 2026: Humanities Center, Northeastern University, "War and Masculinity"

Open to all students and faculty, this talk will survey how I think masculinity influences just war theory and intergroup conflict.

February 13, 2026: Heidelberg University, "Military Political Neutrality During Democratic Crises"

I will be a presenter at a workshop organized by Aurel Croissant on "Democratic Backsliding and Civil-Military Relations in the United States"

March 5, 2026: St. Louis, Association for Practical and Professional Ethics Conference

I will be a part of the opening plenary panel, "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" along with Edward Frantz and Cynthia Stark.

April 3-4, 2026: Temple University, Challenging War Conference

I will be speaking at this conference on "Peace in the Age of Forever War" organized by my dear friend and collaborator, Lee-Ann Chae. 

May 1, 2026: "What to Do with Masculinity?" Vassar College, Women, Feminist, and Queer Studies

This will be a casual discussion with faculty and students of my thinking about how to reform the social construction of masculinity
